The BBC News app is an excellent source of world news. The app also offers interesting articles on various topics. However, the number of users were dropping because they did not receive enough notifications about the breaking news or topics of interest. 

During my User Experience Design study at RMIT, I created a prototype on customising favourite topics and headline notifications. Based on the information gathered from user research, users would want to receive notifications in their area of interests at specific times of the day, as they had limited time to browse on the app each day.

After a few rounds of iteration and user testing, the headline notification settings was improved. Users now found it easier to edit their favourite topics and notification settings, resulting in increasing user flow.
